In most older Total War games, the players would have to accept that the AI is horrible with diplomacy.
Now, I'm not arguing that food and so on need to be in WH3, but having treaties that makes sense is nice. Be that to trade one territory for another or sell food etc. Lastly, in 3K you can make treaties that actually matter. It has always been a confusing mess to try and figure out why a faction didn't want to trade or some other thing that to, the player, seemed like a no-brainer. But it doesn't end there, the 3K's diplomacy system is transparent. This is especially the case in 3K where there (mostly) aren't random war declarations from across the map and where the AI doesn't single the player out for no reason.
But it would be really appreciated if somebody CA could give a hint in that direction.ĬA has made huge leaps when it comes to diplomacy.
I'm aware that we probably don't know this yet.
